Regular NR to Deep Prime was going from OK to Great. It was already very good quality wise in v4, so it is difficult to see a major improvement. It is faster to process by a good amount.
I just did not find old film styles and grain to be anything useful. The package works well and is well thought out. I 'm gonna upgrade (seems DXO 5 is apple chip native), just not sure if Filmpack worth the price. But then again I have amateur untrained eyes and wouldn't know what to look for.ĭoes run faster, I can confirm that at least. I don't notice a huge difference, if any, in the output. I notice it is faster on my Windows 10 Intel I9 desktop The DXO Photolab v5 Exite Deep Prime is excellent. How good is the Deep Prime comparing with V4? Haven't had time to play around with the control lines yet, but that will probably be the most used new feature for me. I played around with it some last night and the export speed on Deep Prime is twice as fast as v4 on my computer. Now if Sony would release a hotshoe mounted GPS like Canon that would be even better.
